WhyKreeps aka Kreeps is originally from South Africa. Born in Johannesburg and raised in Pretoria he migrated to the U.K. in 2006 aged 9. This change of environment at such an absorptive age had an undeniable influence on his style and versatility as an artist and producer. 

 

Kreeps’ individual and organic sound quickly gained him admiration and accolades locally with his peers. With his South African roots impacting his music he was adamant he wanted to extend his talents and develop his own unique sound.  He learned how to produce his own beats which opened a whole new way to personalize and infuse his creativity with his music. 

 

In 2020 Kreeps left the UK and migrated to Amsterdam in the Netherlands where he found himself following an alternative route and really defining himself as an artist whilst collaborating with some of the biggest artist across Europe. For Kreeps music is a way to escape and share his emotions, express his talent, and tell his unique and inspiring story whilst connecting with his audience through relentless flows and hard-hitting melodic beats.  

 

” There’s no limit to greatness!” says Kreeps. His ultimate goal is to create a distinctive new sound and more importantly pave the way for others who may have faced similar obstacles by becoming a dominant voice and be heard not just in the music industry but globally. From apartheid and systematic struggles Kreeps is determined for everyone to hear what he has to say.
